sometimes, before we say sth, we haf to think twice before we do so.

i know u're happy, u can't contain ur joy and u just haf to share it with someone... and that someone happens to be me.
u exclaim,"AHHHH my chem/bio/gp/econs finally went over 10 percentile!!!! OMG!!!" or sth
i am happy for u coz u improved.
but pls be more sensitive. i'm no longer the friend u once knew--the friend who cld take all ur teasing and ur jokes about me. i know u're doing well, nth wrong abt that, but i'm struggling n when u say stuff like that, it just simply... hurts.

the slightest thing u say or do stings. just like a slight touch to an open wound.

be sensitive. pls.

in times like this, I realise I am powerless without You. I've been trying to do things by my own strength all this while and now I realise, without Your help, it is all a lost cause. I am tired, Lord. Tired. I surrender Father, take my all and lead the way. Give me strength to face each day.

was reading the daily bread just now (haven't been reading it for so darn long) and this passage frm the bible spoke to me.

6"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Sabbaticals-Day 1

finally back from a day of sabbaticals.

haha, really have no idea why i chose to do fencing. hmm...

we ran two rounds round the SALT centre... did loads of stretching and had to switch btwn on-guard and lunge positions. haha, my thigh and calve muscles feel jellified... hahaha. the foil (weapon) is kinda cool though.

went out with stef, steph and jessica and went to this toy shop.

they have these little musical boxes. each box plays a diff tune when u rotate the little dainty handle. they have Greensleaves.

haha, love these little things, haf always longed for one.
